Obesity is a situation which is related to having an excess amount of body fat, represented by genetic and environmental factors that are difficult to control by fasting. An individual’s cause of obesity is determined by the balance of calorie intake as well as the number of physical activities in which he/ she participates.
One of the major problems everyone facing now days are obesity. This problem has become more similar among all over the world. Some people say that the rates of obesity are so high and we have reached an obesity epidemic. As the world has been progressing, the percentage of obesity is increasing rapidly. CAUSE OF OBESITY
The increase in the rate of fat is mainly caused by too many factors. According to the National Institute of Health (NIH), the most familiar cause of obesity can be categorized into four causes; lifestyle, environment, hereditary and medical causes. Besides that, the followings are some major cause of obesity:
Changes in lifestyles
The main reason for obesity is that people no longer give preference to physical fitness activities. One more important cause of obesity comes to the mind that the change in culture and lifestyle. Lifestyle
Plays an important role in our life. Obesity does not just arise overnight; it grows gradually from an unhealthy diet and lifestyle choices.
Unhealthy food choices could be:

Today’s generation completely depends upon technology and no one loves to work physically. So that the laziness among people gradually increasing which is the main cause of getting overweight.

Coincidentally, 20-40% of Indian adult affected by obesity. Eating junk food and fat can accumulate in your body causing weight gain which is the main factor in obesity.
Obesity generally causes the age group between 10 to 25 years adults because of the heavy consumption of junk food such as roll, chow mien, pizza, burger, spicy food, cold and hot drinks. Junk food is high in fat but low in nutrition. In order to reduce your excess obesity, it is essential to reduce your intake of this unhealthy processed food. Replace them with weight loss diet food like fruit, vegetables, legumes, whole grains, and nuts.
Wrong eating habits
overeating and physical inactivity is the main cause of obesity. If you consume high amounts of energy, particularly fat and sugar, but don’t burn off the energy through exercise and physical activities then surplus energy will be stored by the body as fat. Obesity has various effects includes the risk of suffering from a range of health conditions, large fiscal expenditure on medical insurance and lack of self-esteem.
It is also the second leading cause of avoidable death in the nation. Eating a large amount of processed or fast food which contains a high amount of oil, fat, sugar and drinking too much alcohol cause overweight. Obesity is the undoubtedly one of the biggest medical problems of the 21st century. This problem affects more and more children and adults.
Today’s lifestyle promotes the development of obesity. Because of improper eating behaviors, children consume an excess amount of energy; and it is deficient in elements necessary for proper development. The example of such bad eating habits is: snacking highly processed and calorie-rich foods between meals eating in front of the TV screen, skipping breakfast, drinking sugar-sweetened beverages.
Obesity is the cause of various diseases such as heart diseases and stroke, high blood pressure, diabetes, cancer, gallbladder diseases and gallstones, osteoarthritis, gout, breathing problem, and asthma. Avoid such foods keep a man healthy.
Lack of physical exercise
Lack of exercise and physical activity is another main problem associated with obesity. Many people have jobs in which they have to sit at a desk most of the day. They return home on their cars or motorcycle rather than walking or cycling. At leisure time people loves to watch TV, browse the internet and engage in social media or play online games and they do not exercise regularly.
As consequence, they are not active enough and they do not utilize their energy which they get from food. So extra fat stored in their body and they get obese easily.
Many people claim that there is no way of losing weight because “it is in my family” or “it is my genetics problem”. The true fact is there are some rare genetic cases that can cause obesity, such as Ahlstrom syndrome is a genetic disorder that affects many parts of the body. Prader-Willi syndrome can cause severe obesity problem. But there is no reason why people cannot lose weight.
In many cases, obesity runs in families due to environmental factors. In most cases, obesity occurs due to little physical activities and unhealthy food consumption.
Lack of awareness
According to research, it is cleared that people who are overweight use weight loss products by watching ads or hearing from others without taking any advice from doctors. They lose weight as long as they use the product. When they do not use the product for some days, they gain weight again. Using various kinds of products is not a permanent solution. Some people do not control over eating like unhealthy diet, junk food, cold drinks, alcohol etc.
Due to lack of awareness, many people get obsessed. Nowadays it is very difficult for many people to fight against obesity without getting awareness. Be careful about the above factors and have a peaceful life.
